Two GNA Projects Shorlisted for 2019 RICS Awards
The RICS Awards come to Birmingham on Wednesday 8th May 2019 and GNA are thrilled to announce that two of our projects, Hotel and Conference Centre and Garth House, have been shortlisted for a West Midlands RICS Award.
Following a design competition as part of the University of Birmingham’s framework, GNA were chosen for the new build hotel and conference centre development. The facility consists of a 172-bed hotel with a series of flexible conferencing suites and is located on a complex site within the Edgbaston Conservation area.
Included as part of this prestigious development, GNA were also appointed onto the refurbishment of Garth House, a Grade II* Listed Arts & Crafts building, which plays a key part in the overall scheme. Constructed in 1901, Garth House was one of only 5 residential dwellings designed by William Bidlake and is the largest of the collection.
We are delighted to have been shortlisted for such prestigious awards and look forward to attending the ceremony in Birmingham Botanical Gardens, where the winners will be announced.
