The Learning Centre is one of the largest campus wide facilities designed to provide flexible learning spaces and open access computer facilities for general student use, and occupies the lower two floors of the existing building.

The scheme includes a mixture of formal and informal teaching and learning areas with flexible open access computer facilities that provides students with a variety of adaptable learning spaces. The design creates a contemporary and progressive learning environment that supports multiple facilities across the University and makes the facility more useable as a resource for all departments and students.

In addition to the internal works the opportunity was taken to both extend the existing coffee shop and link with the Learning Centre as well as improve the piazza to the front of the building to encourage pedestrian movement through this main space.
