211 Broad Street

211 Broad Street will be an iconic building in the heart of Birmingham, providing breath-taking views across the city. The proposal will be one-of-a-kind, with the narrow floor plate and 36-storey height making for the UK’s first super slender skyrise. The design has been influenced by Birmingham’s metal works industry and the ‘glass box’ which the frame sits around refers to the glassworks, which sits opposite the site. The structure will provide a modern and striking elevation, as well as minimise the building’s movement. Additionally, a new rooftop sky garden will deliver unparalleled views of Birmingham’s skyline.

The scheme proposes to redevelop a narrow site into an aparthotel building. Combining the best features of a boutique hotel with the comforts of an apartment, the city centre aparthotel will have 264 self-contained rooms, along with a range of amenities, including a bar, restaurant, gym, and residents' lounge, giving residents a variety of opportunities during their stay. Located on Broad Street, guests staying at the aparthotel will enjoy enviable views across Birmingham city centre, with only a short walking distance to the city centre with accessibility to the city’s numerous transport links.
